Let the breadth be b
Length is 2b - 16

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2( l + b) = 100 cm
=> 2 ( 2b - 16 + b) = 100
=> 3b - 16 = 100/2
=> 3b - 16 = 50
=> 3b = 66
=> b = 22 cm
length = 2 x 22 - 16 = 44 - 16 = 28 cm

Hence, length = 28 cm and breadth = 22 cm

Answer:

Perimeter=100

2(l+b)=100cm

2(2x-16+x)=100

6x-32=100

6x=100+32

x=132/6

x=22cm

Breadth=22cm and Length=28cm
