Breadth = x cm

Length of the rectangle = (2x - 16) cm

Given, perimeter = 100 cm

:. Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

(put values)...

--> 100 = 2 × (2x - 16 + x)

--> 100/2 = 3x - 16

--> 50 = 3x - 16

--> 50 + 16 = 3x

--> 66 = 3x

--> 66/3 = x

--> 22 = x

So, the length = 2 × 22 - 16

= 28 cm

Breadth = 22 cm

Hence, we get the required ans

hope this helped you dear...
