Let breadth=A,

then

length=2A-16,

now according to the question, we have

2(length+breadth)=100 cm,

2(2A-16+A)=100,

3A-16=50,

3A=50+16,

then

3A=66,

then

A=22,

hence

breadth=22 cm,

length=2×22-16,

=44-16=28cm
