♠ Let the breadth be 'x'.

Then, length = 2x - 16

♠ So, the perimeter would be,

\sf{= 2(l + b)}

\sf{= 2(x + 2x - 16)}

\sf{= 2(3x - 16)}

\sf{= 6x - 32}

♠ But, according to the question, perimeter = 100 cm

\sf{=> 6x - 32 = 100}

\sf{=> 6x = 100 + 32}

\sf{=> x = \frac{132}{6}}

\sf{=> x = 22}

♠ •°• Breadth = x = 22 cm

♠ And, length
= 2x - 16
= 2(22) - 16
= 44 - 16
= 28 cm
