Hey Mathematicians,
Let the breadth be x.
Length will be 2x+2
We know,
Perimeter of a rectangle=> 2[l+b]
28=2[(x)+(2x+2)]
28=2[x+2x+2]
28=2[3x+2]
28=6x+4
28-4=6x
24÷6=x
4=x
Therefore, the breadth is 4 cm and the length will be:-
2x+2=2(4)+2=10
Length will be 10cm.
