Answer:-

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x m.

Given:

Length is 3 m less than 4 times the breadth.

→ Length of the rectangle = (4x - 3) m

Also,

Perimeter of the rectangle is 94 m.

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ 2(4x - 3 + x) = 94

→ 2(5x - 3) = 94

→ 10x - 6 = 94

→ 10x = 94 + 6

→ 10x = 100

→ x = 100/10

→ x = 10 m

Hence,

  • Breadth = x = 10 m.

  • Length = 4x - 3 = 4 (10) - 3 = 40 - 3 = 37 m.

Therefore, the dimensions of the rectangle are 37 m , 10 m.

☯️ Given :-

  • Length of a rectangle is 3 m less than four times it's breadth.

  • Perimeter of the rectangle is 94 m.

☯️ To Find :-

  • Length and breadth.

☯️ Solution :-

Let the breadth be x.

So, According To Question,

Length Of Rectangle will become 4x - 3 metres.

Now, Perimeter Of Rectangle = 94 metres.

So,

We know that,

Perimeter Of A Rectangle = 2(l + b).

Put the values.

➛2(x + 4x - 3) = 94.

➛2(5x - 3) = 94.

➛10x - 6 = 94.

➛10x = 94 + 6.

➛10x = 100.

➛x = 100/10.

➛x = 10.

Now, Calculating Dimensions,

  • Breadth = x = 10m.

  • Length = 4x - 3 = 37m.

Hence, Length and breadth are 37 and 10 metres respectively.
