Answer:

let the breadth of the rectangle be x

length = x+ 5

perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

52 = 2 ( x+ 5 + x )

52= 2( 2x + 5 )

52= 4x + 10

4x = 52 - 10

4x = 42

x = 42/ 4

x = 10.5 ( breadth)

hence length = x+ 5 = 10.5 + 5 = 15.5
