length = 2x - 8

P = 2(l + b)

56 = 2(x + 2x - 8)

56 = 2(3x - 8)

56 = 6x - 16

56 + 16 = 6x

72 = 6x

72/6 = x

12m = x

Breadth= 12m

Length = 24 - 8 = 16m
