\bold{\huge{\fbox{\color{Black}{Given:-}}}}

Length of Rectangle (l) = 3 times its breadth.

Length (l) = 3b. --(1)

Perimeter of Rectangle = 10cm

\bold{\huge{\fbox{\color{Black}{Find:-}}}}

Length = (l) of rectangle

Breadth = (b) of rectangle

\bold{\huge{\fbox{\color{Black}{Solution:-}}}}

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b) = 10cm

=> 2(l + b) = 10

=> ( l + b) = 10/2 = 5

=> 3b + b = 5. ----(from - 1)

=> 4b = 5

=> b = 5/4 = 1.25 cm

So,

Length = 3b = 3 × 1.25 = 3.75cm

Hence,

Length = 3.75cm

Breadth = 1.25cm
