Answer:

Let us take x as the breadth

and 3x as length

Perimeter of a rectangle =2*(l*b)=80

therefore, 2 *x*2x =80

5x= 80

x= 80/5

x= 16

therefore breadth =x =16

length = 3x =3*16=48

Breadth of the rectangle = x

Length of the rectangle = 3x

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)
= 80m

Therefore ,

2(3x+x) = 80
2(4x) = 80
8x = 80
X = 80/8
X= 10

Therefore breadth = 8m and length = 3*8 = 24m
