Solution :
Dimensions of the rectangular field :
Length ( L ) = 250 m
Breadth ( B ) = 150 m
i ) Distance covered to run one
round = perimeter of the rectangle
= 2( L + B )
= 2( 250 + 150 )
= 2 × 400
= 800m
Now ,
Distance covered around the field
3 times = 3 × 800
= 2400 m
ii ) If she covers 800m in one round
Let In ' n ' rounds she covers 4 km
n = ( 4 km )/( 800 )
= 4000 m/800m
= 5
Therefore ,
She has to run 5 rounds to cover 4km
