Let the breath be x m
Length of the rectangle = 2x-4 m
Perimeter of rectangle =64 m
2(x+2x-4) = 64
3x-4 = 64÷2 = 32
3x=32+4=36
x=36÷3=12
Breath = 12m
Length = 36-4 = 32m

arjunthomas185: Length is incorrect.
arjunthomas185: Its 20m

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)
length = 2b-4
breadth=b
perimeter = 2(2b-4+b)=64
4b-8+2b=64
6b-8=64
b=12
l=2×12-4
=20
length=20
breadth=12
