Answer:

Breadth = x

length = 2x

Perimeter = 2(l + b ) = 2( 2x + 1x )

300m = 2 × 3x

300/2 = 3x

150 = 3x

x = 150/3 = 50

Breadth = 50m

Length = 50 × 2 = 100m

                 ✱Question:-

Length of a rectangular ground is double than its breadth. if its perimeter is 300 meter find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

                  ✵Given:-

•Perimeter of rectangle is 300m

                ❖To find:-

• Length and breadth of rectangle

                 ᯽︎Solution:-

Perimeter of rectangle =2(length +breadth)

↠2(2x+x)=300m

↠3x=\frac{300}{2}

↠3x=150

↠x=150/3

↠x=50

Breadth = 50 m

Length = 50×2= 100m

Therefore the length of rectangle is 100 m and breadth is 50m.

\huge{\sf{\purple{Verification}}}:-

⇝2( length +breadth)

⇝ 2(100+50)

⇝2×150

⇝300 m

Hence proved✔
