let the breadth of the rectangle be 'x'

then the length will be 2x +2

According to the question ;

perimeter of rectangle = 28 cm

2 (l+b) = 28

2(x+2x+2)=28

2(3x + 2) = 28

6x + 4 =28

6x =28-4

6x =24

x = 4cm

length = 2×4 +2=10 cm

breadth = 4 cm
