Answer:

first all the sides of square are always equal

I think instead of square there should be rectangle according to rectangle l am giving solution

Step-by-step explanation:

l= 34 cm, b=?

perimeter= 124

perimeter= 2(l+b)

124= 2(34+b)

124= 68+2b

124-68=2b

56/2= b

28=b

breadth= 28 cm

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the breadth of a rectangle.

        Given data:- Length(l)=34cm.

                             Perimeter=124cm.

        To find:- Breadth of rectangle=?

        Solution:-

  • We know that ,the rectangle has four sides and opposite sides of rectangle are equal and parallel to each other.
  • The area of a rectangle is Length\times breadth.
  • The perimeter of a rectangle is 2(length+breadth).

        Therefore,

          \Rightarrow 2(l+b)=124\\\Rightarrow 2(34+b)=124\\\Rightarrow 68+2b=124\\\Rightarrow 2b=124-68\\\Rightarrow 2b=56\\\Rightarrow b=28.

    Hence, the breadth of a rectangle is 28.
