A water drop is observed to fall

through a fluid of density 1 kg/m³

with a constant velocity of 9.8 m/s.

What is the radius of the drop? Take

the coefficient of viscosity of fluid as

0.000002 .

The radius of the water drop will be,

r^2 = v x n x 9/rhogx2

=>r^2= 9.8 x 0.000002x9/1x9.8x2

=>r^2=0.000009

=>r= 3X10^-4 m

Radius of the droplet is 3X10^-4 m
