Length of the wire is 16.80 metres.

  1. Length of wire is x metres.
  2. It is cut into 24 equal pieces and each piece length is 70 cm.
  3. Converting each piece length in metres we get as 0.7m (Since 1 m = 100 cm).
  4. Now calculating the length of the wire we get as 24 * 0.7 = 16.8 metres.

number of pieces * length of each piece = total length of the wire!
