Answer :-

PERIMETER = 28 cm

Explaination :-

★ Given :-

• Length of the rectangle = 8cm

• Diagonal = 10cm

★ To find :-

• The BREADTH of the RECTANGLE

• The perimeter of the RECTANGLE

★ Solution :-

•→ First we need to find the Breadth.

•→ Breadth can be found through the Pythagorus theorem.

Refer the attachment for the diagram.

→ Hypotenuse : 10cm

→ Height : x

→ Base : 8cm

=> (Hypotenuse)²=( Base) ² + ( Height )²

 = > ( {10})^{2} = ({8})^{2} + ( {x})^{2}

 = > {10}^{2} = {8}^{2} + {x}^{2}

 = > 100 = 64 + {x}^{2}

 = > {x}^{2} = 100 - 64

 = > {x}^{2} = 36

 = > x = \sqrt{36}

 = > x = 6

\large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{Breadth = 6 cm }}}}}}}

\textbf{\large{PERIMETER}}

=> 2 ( L + B )

=> 2 ( 8 + 6 )

=> 16 + 12

=> 28

\large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{PERIMETER = 28 cm }}}}}}}

\therefore The PERIMETER of the RECTANGLE = 28 cm
