Length of rectangle is 4 m less than 3 times its breadth. The perimeter of rectangle is
32m.

Given that:

length of rectangle = 3 x breadth - 4m

=> l = 3b-4

perimeter = 32 m

                                               

perimeter = 2[l+b]

 32= 2[ 3b-4+b]

 32= 2 [ 4b-4]

 32 = 8b - 8

 40 = 8b

∴  b = 5m

∵  l = 3b-4

l = 15-4

l = 11
