Hiii Friend,

Let the Breadth of a rectangle be X.

Then the Length of rectangle = 2X -5

Perimeter of rectangle = 110

2(L+B) = 110

2(2X - 5 +X) = 110

(2X -5+X) = 110/2

3X - 5 = 55

3X = 55-5

3X = 50

X = 50/3 = 16.66 cm

Breadth of rectangle = X = 16.66 cm

And,

Length of rectangle = 2X - 5 = 2 × 16.66 -5 = 33.32-5 = 28.32 cm

Therefore,

Area of rectangle = L × B = 28.32 × 16.66 = 471.81 cm².

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)

prathamppmp8yrqe: Srry but ur answers is incorrect
prathamppmp8yrqe: 3x - 5 = 55 it becomes 3x = 60 ( - 5) changes to +5
PurvangDesai: step is wrong 3x - 5 =55 , 3x = 55+5 , 3x =60, x =20 , but written 3x = 55-5 , so wrong answer, correct answer is 700 sq units
