Length of rectangle is 5 more than its breadth If the perimeter of rectangle is 170cm find the dimensions of the rectangle

Here is your answer

Let the breadth is x
so length is x + 5

Perimeter = 2(L + B)
170 = 2(x + 5 + x) \\ 170 = 2(2x + 5) \\ 170 = 4x + 10 \\ 4x = 170 - 10 \\ x =  \frac{160}{4}  \\ x = 40 \\
So Length =40 + 5 =45 cm
and Breadth = 40 cm
