The cost to cover the whole field if per square metre cost is ₹50 ??

Solution ↘️

Perimeter - 2(l + b)

=> 2( l + b ) = 140

=> 2(40 + b) = 140

=> 80 + 2b = 140

=> 2b = 60

=> b = 30 m

Area of Rectangle

=> length × breadth

=> 30 × 40

=> 1200 m²

If,

1 m² = 50 rs.

1200 m² = 1200 × 50

=> 60,000 rs.

→ 140 - 80 = 2b

→ Area = length × breadth

→ A = l × b

→ A = 40 × 30
