Here is your answer :
============================

Given,

length is 3 times its breadth.

Let the breadth be x

Length = 3x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) = 400cm

2 ( x + 3x ) = 400

4x = 400/2

4x = 200

x = 200/4

x = 50

Therefore,

Breadth = 50cm

Length = 3 × 50 = 150cm

Let breadth be x
Then length=3x
Given perimeter=400
2(l+b)=400
2(3x+x)=400
2(4x)=400
8x=400
X=400/8
X=50
Therefore length=50*3=150cm
Breadth=50cm
