Diagonal of a square 2 × side = 2 × 42 = 4

∴ side =4cm

Area of this square 4^2 = 16 sq.cm

Area of another square double the area of this square = 32 sq.cm

=> Its side = 32 = 42

So,

length of the diagonal of this second square = 2 × 42 = 4 × 2 = 8 cm
