O is the centre of the circle.

AB chord = radius OA

OA = OB ( Radii of same circle )

Therefore ,

In ∆OAB ,

OA = OB = AB

OAB is an equilateral triangle.

<A = <B = <O = 60°

Angle subtended by the chord at the

center = 60°
