ABCD is a rhombus.

Rhombus is a parallelogram, and in a parallelogram diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly.

AC and BD bisect at 0. ( You can use different letters in place of ABCD )

Using pythagoras theorem-

DO² + CO² = CD²

12² + 16² = CD²

144 + 256 = CD²

400 = CD²

CD = 20cm.

Since in rhombus all sides are equal, we have

AB + BC + CD + AD = 20cm.
