Answer:

Given,

length of rectangle = 10 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 30 cm

So,

2(l + b) = 30 cm

=> 2( 10 + b) = 30 cm

=> 20 + 2 b = 30 cm

=> 2 b = (30 - 20)cm

=> 2 b = 10 cm

=> b = 5 cm

Hence breadth or other side of rectangle = 5 cm.

Answer:

5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

Length = 10 cm, perimeter = 30 cm, find breadth

2(10 + b) = 30

10 + b = 30/2

10 + b = 15

b = 15 – 10

b = 5 cm
