Length of parallel sides are 9cm and 5cm

Height = 8cm

Area of trapezium = \frac{1}{2} × Height × (Sum of parallel sides)

 \frac{1}{2} × 8cm × (9+5) cm

 \frac{8 + 14}{2}

+ 14cm²

= 56cm²

Answer:

Area of a Trapezium : b1 + b2 / 2 • h

9 + 11 20

-------- = ------ = 10

2 2

10 • 5 = 50

Area = 50 sq. cm
