Given information : Lengths of the diagonals of a rhombus are 11.2 cm and 7.5 cm respectively.

To find : The area of the given rhombus.

Solution : Rhombus is a quadrilateral with all sides are equal and opposite sides are parallel.

We know that,

The area of a rhombus is equal to half the product of the lengths of the diagonals. Mathematically;

→ Area of rhombus = 1/2 * d1 * d2

where, d1 and d2 are the lengths of the diagonals of a rhombus.

By substituting the given values in the formula, we get the following results:

→ Area of rhombus = 1/2 * 11.2 * 7.5

→ Area of rhombus = 1/2 * 84

→ Area of rhombus = 1 * 42

→ Area of rhombus = 42cm²

Answer : The area of the rhombus is 42cm².
