Lengths of two adjacent sides of parallelogram are 4 cm and 5 cm. Find the perimeter of the parallelogram.

Since, the opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal,
let , one pair of the opposite length = 4
       other pair of opposite length = 5
perimeter = sum of length of four sides = 4+4+5+5
                                                               = 18 cm
