Answer:
Music is an integral part of all societies, existing in a number of styles, each characteristic of a geographical region or a historical era. The learned Supreme Court of India once said that obscenity cannot be defined — it lies in the eyes of the beholder. Similarly, we cannot label music but can differentiate it from sound and noise. When I open my mouth, it is noise (my well wishers often remark that I love to hear the sound of my own voice, all the time!) Even a culturally challenged individual like me, unable to imitate, can discern the divinity in the voice of M.S. Music is more than arranging sounds sequentially to produce a continuous, unified, evocative composition, through melody, harmony, rhythm and timbre.
