                If rivers could revolt

If rivers could revolt they would wreak unprecedented havoc. They could revolt in two ways – either by flooding or drying up. Both types of revolts are dangerous for man, animals, and plants. If they flooded, they would inundate plains, forests, and fields damaging all the small and big animals living there. The crops would be destroyed, people’s homes would be submerged in water. Life would be terribly affected. If the rivers revolted by drying up that would also affect man, animals, and plants. Without water, man would die; fertile lands would become barren; and animals would also die. So, rivers should never rise in revolt against man as man’s end is sure if they do.
