the lense is concave

we know that D=1÷f(m)

then F=1÷D

=1÷-1.5

f=0.66m

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that P = 1/F where focal length is in metre.

Substitute the values and you get

-1.5 = 1/F

F = 1/-1.5

F = -0.66 m

F = -66 cm ( 1 m = 100 cm)

Here the focal length is negative but we know that

Focal length of concave lens is negative

Therefore the lens is Concave ( diverging lens ).

Hope this will help and mark me as brainliest if this helps.

Prizam0170477: sorry the focal length is 66 cm and not 60 cm
anmolchn11: ok

Prizam0170477: i have done the corrections please mark my answer as brainliest.
Prizam0170477: thanks bhai, kal science 1 ki exam kay liye best of luck.
harshpreet2005: can you plz state the nature of this.
