\mathbb{ SOLUTION } :

Given :
Perimeter of rectangle is 64 m
and the length of the rectangle exceeds it's breadth by 6 m

let,
breadth of the rectangle be x m
so,
length = (x+6) m

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

=> 64 = 2(x+6 + x)

=> 64 ÷ 2 = (2x + 6)

=> 32 = 2x + 6

=> 32 - 6 = 2x

=> 26 = 2x

=> 26 ÷ 2 = x

=> 13 = x

Hence,
breadth of the rectangle is x = 13 m
and length of the rectangle is (x+6) = 13+6 = 19 m

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Given :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 64 m
length of a rectangle exceeds its breadth by 6 metres.

Solution :-

Let breadth of rectangle be x metres.

Therefore,

Length = (x +6)m

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( l +b)

➡️ 64 = 2 (x +x +6)

➡️ 64 ÷ 2 = 2x + 6

➡️ 32 = 2x + 6

➡️ 26 = 2x

➡️ x = 26 ÷ 2

➡️ x = 13

Therefore, breadth of rectangle is 13m and length of rectangle is 13 + 6 = 19m.
