Answer:

12m

Please mark the answer as "The Brainliest answer" if you like it

Step-by-step explanation:

L = length B = Breadth D = Depth

Area of Walls = L*D + B*D + L*D + B*D

L = 2B so B = L/2

Area of walls = LD + LD/2 + LD + LD/2 = 3LD

3LD = 108

LD = 36

D = 3

3L = 36

L =12

Hi!

We have given a Condition that length of rectangular tank is twice it's breadth

It Can be expressed as :

Length = 2 * Breadth

or

Breadth = Length/2

Find the area of the wall

Area of the wall = L*D + B*D + L*D + B*D

=> LD + LD/2 + LD + LD/2 = 3LD

=> 2 L * D = 108 m^2

=> LD = 108/2

=> LD = 36

Find the length of the tank

We have given depth of tank = 3

3L = 36

=> L = 36/3

=> 12m
