Area of square is more and by 100 m^2

Hey mate this may help you-

Given-

Perimeter(square)=Perimeter(rectangle)

Dimensions of rectangle = 90 m and 70 m

______________________________________

Solution-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=2(90+70)

=2(160)

=320 m

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

(Given)

Therefore perimeter of square = 320 m

Perimeter of square = 4 x side

320= 4s

s=320/4

s=80 m

Side of square = 80 m

______________________________________

Now,

Area of rectangle = L x B

= 90 x 70

=6300 m^2

Area of square = S^2

=80^2

=6400 m^2

______________________________________

Therefore,

The area of square is more and by 100 m^2.
