So when Caesar tells Decius Brutus that he will not be able to come to the senate house . Brutus asks for the reason so that he can tell to the people in the senate house without laughing.

Brutus is telling that if he doesn't say the reason as to why caeser hasn't come the senators will laugh at him.so he is asking caeser to tell him the reason as to why he is not coming
