A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}
B = {x , x is an even number greater than 4}
e.g., B = {6, 8, 10, 12, 14 , 16, 18, .......}
We have to choose sign ∈ or ∉ [ ∈ means belongs to and ∉ doesn't belong to ]
(a) 6 ∈ B
Because you can see elements of set B , here 6 lies .
Hence, we can say that 6 belongs to B or 6 ∈ B
(b) 45 ∉ A
Because , in set A there are only five elements i.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
So, 45 doesn't belong to A or 45∉ A
(c) 33 ∉ B
Because , set B contains only even number greater than 4
So, 33 doesn't belong to B or 33 ∉ B
