Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Let A = {1, 2, 3, 4} and B = {1, 4, 9, 16, 25} and R be a relation, defined from A to B, as R = {(x, y) : x∈A, y∈B, and y = x²}

To find:(i) Depict this relation using arrow diagram (ii) Find domain of R

(iii) Find range of R

(iv) Write co-domain of R

Solution:

As A = {1, 2, 3, 4} and B = {1, 4, 9, 16, 25}

Roaster form of R

R={(1,1),(2,4),(3,9),(4,16)}

Arrow diagram is attatched.

(ii) Find domain of R

Ans: Domain of R ={1,2,3,4}

(iii) Find range of R

Ans: Range of R={1,4,9,16}

(iv) Write co-domain of R

Ans: Co-domain of R={1,4,9,16,25}

Hope it helps you.
