Let A(4, 2), B(6, 5) and C(1, 4) be the vertices of Δ ABC, the median from A meets BC at D.

Find the coordinates of the point D.​

  • It means AD is the bisector of BC

Solution :

  • Let Coordinates of D (x,y)
  • By using mid Point formula
  • x = ( 6 + 1 ) / 2 and y = ( 5 + 4 ) / 2
  • x = 7/2 and y = 9/2
