Let a and b be positive integers.show that if 4ab- 1 divides (4a2 – 1)2,then a = b.

ANSWER:-

➡️4ab≡1(mod4ab−1) and if 4ab−1∣4a2−1 then 4a2≡1(mod4ab−1). So

b≡(4a2)b=a(4ab)≡a(mod4ab−1).

➡️a−b=b(4a2−1)−a(4ab−1)

So 4ab−1∣a−b.
