Taking logarithm gives:

2(loga+logb)=4(logb+logc)=x(logc+loga)=loga+logb+logc

then taking,

2(loga+logb)=loga+logb+logc

and

4(logb+logc)=loga+logb+logc

we would get loga+logb−logc=0 &

3logb+3logc−loga=0 and by solving these two equations we get

log b = −log c

similarly log a= −log b then the solution becomes obvious......as x=1/2
