Given : a, b, c > 0 be three numbers such that a + b + c= 10

To Find :  a²bc can be 10 or not

Solution

Lets take  a = 1

a + b + c = 10

=> 1 + b + c = 10

=>  b +  c = 9

a²bc = 10

=> 1² bc = 10  => bc = 10

b (9 - b ) = 10

=> b²  - 9b + 10  = 0

=> b = (9 ± √41) /2

b = (9 + √41) /2  => c = (9 -√41) /2

or

b = (9 - √41) /2  => c = (9 + √41) /2

Hence possible

a²bc can be 10
