I know the ans is 0
because 0 is an rational no. and when we multiply it by any irrational no. the ans is the rational no-0.
but in rs aggarwal book it is written yes can you tell which ans is correct and why

Answer:

if a is rational and b is irrational then the product is irrational

ex= 2× root 2 = 2 root 2 so it is irrational

but if I take 0 × root 2 = 0 which is a rational number

as it can be written in the form p by q

so you can say that rational into irrational that is a× b is always irrational except when rational number is 0
