ordinates of A are (1,2) and co-ordinates of B

are (2, -1), thenIn △ABD and △CBD

AB = CB (Given)

AD = CD (Given)

BD = BD (Common)

By SSS test of congruency

△ABD ≅ △CBD(D) (1,-3)

Since, seg AB || Y-axis.

∴ x co-ordinate of all points on seg AB will be the same,

x co-ordinate of A (1, 3) = 1

x co-ordinate of B (1, – 3) = 1
