Given :   E=3, B=7 AND A=4  BASE +  BALL = GAMES

To find :  Other Digits  S , L G M

Solution:

 BASE

+ BALL

3 + L = S

S + L = 3

=> L   =  0   & S = 3  but E = 3  ( Hence not possible)

3 + L = 10 + S

1 + S + L = 3

2 - S = S + 7

=> S = -2.5 ( not Possible)

3 + L = S                    or 3 + L = 10 + S

& S + L  = 13                 & 1 + S + L = 13

=> S + S - 3 = 13           => 2 - S = S - 3

=> 2S = 16                      => 2S = 5

=> S=  8                      => S = 2.5  ( not possible)

=> L = 5
