Let fi:R → Rand 52:C → C are two functions
such that fi(x)= xand f2(x)= x3. Prove that
fi and f2 are not same.

See,

R is the Set of Real Numbers.

C is the set of Complex numbers.

First function

So, the first function is from R to R.

Which means that if I input 2 to the first function, it will output 8.

If I input i to the function, it will be meaningless.

Second function

The second function is from C to C,

Which means that it takes ONLY COMPLEX NUMBERS and returns ONLY COMPLEX NUMBERS.

If I input i to the function, it will return me - i (i³)

Inputting 2 to this function will be meaningless.

Hence, these two functions are not same.

BUT I'LL NOT SAY THAT THESE FUNCTIONS ARE DIFFERENT.
