f(x)=1x for x=1,2,3,4,5 ⇒xf(x)-1=0 for x=1,2,3,4,5 g(x)=xf(x)-1=k(x-1)(x-2)(x-3)(x-4) (x-5) (∵f(x) is a 4 degree polynomial)
