here is ur answer.....
Fiction is writing based on the author's imagination and invention of a story, characters and/or backdrop. Novels, novelettes (also known as "novelet") and novellas all contain the same subject matter but exist along a spectrum in terms of word length.

fiction is the imagination story. It is story in which story are created by imagine like Virtually true or shady plot
Novel is the real story. It is story in which story was real in past like Helen Keller
