Let me Live
In the serenity of lush green forests, Marcus was having a peaceful existence along with his two
cubs and his tigress. He was enjoying his life in the forest with his fellow companions.
Till one fine day when their peace was impeached upon by the poachers. The whole existence
of species of animals was challenged, as now they had to watch their movement in their own
homes. So much so, that Marcus lost his family in an escapade from the poachers....and now
he was left alone.
Another monster which caused havoc in his life was extreme hot and dry weather.
As designed by fate, even Marcus wasn't spared. Monsters of Global Warming, Scarcity of Water
and Loss of Habitat were lurking large on the forest. Marcus fell in a semi-conscious state.
And were his prayers answered ???...Yes....one find day the whole forest witnessed a row of cars
and jeeps of some human species, who were dressed up as forest officers.
They got down from their jeep and tended on Marcus, checked his heart beat and injected some
medicine in his body to relieve his pain. They caressed his grieved body and tied his paws to
lift him on a stretcher. He was put in their van and taken off for a new beginning ... yes he was
taken to a new home in a wildlife sanctuary.
